The Bell Effect supports individuals, communities, and organizations in their efforts to build collective leadership, establish community relevance and increase their organizing capacity amongst Black men and Black fathers to achieve greater social and societal outcomes.
“Mr. Bell the purpose of this letter is to thank you for your leadership with planning and organizing the Black Fathers’ Festival. As we know, when we support families, we support children. The Black Fathers’ Festival met both goals and also served as a catalyst for conversation with regard to dismantling stereotypes, which is aligned with our focus on equity.”
”Ryan has showcased is strengths in program development and implementation, mobilizing volunteers and partners toward shared goals, marshaling resources to launch new efforts, as well as his deep commitment to mentoring as a key to youth success. He exemplifies these same values in his most recent undertaking, The Bell Effect consulting agency, where he works to mobilize communities, engage Black men, and empower fathers. Mentoring is truly his wheel-house and he has grown to be a well-respected and trusted leader and champion for it locally within the schools, among the social service providers, and the community overall.”
“Through his many years of experiences and achievements, he has become a master at identifying, building and managing strategic collaborations and partnerships to achieve program goals. He is well versed in communicating with leadership at varying levels within government, community and faith-based organizations to include Agency Directors, Non-profit executives and community-based faith leaders. Additionally, I have personally worked directly with Mr. Bell since 2017, as he provided key strategic leadership to our efforts to design the implementation model that supported our agency’s multi-year federal HHS grant and the corresponding strategic and action planning that was necessary to implement our state-wide program.”
